Liftology Ep 17

: Choices and Feedback

Making decisions is what we do, but feedback is how we learn.

In this week's Liftology video, we discuss the importance of L&D course designers and facilitators providing effective feedback so our learners deepen their understanding of what they're learning and how it can be applied.

Rather than use valuable face to face training time simply to dump lots of content on our learners, think about where and how to incorporate activities where participants can practice/apply what they're learning.

This also means facilitators must show up to do more than just teach or present the content. We must be present and engaged enough with our learners that we're able to watch and listen, understand what they are getting right and wrong and provide the kind of feedback that deepens their grasp of the learning.

As always, we collaborated with our board advisor, Cognitive and Learning Sciences expert, Clark Quinn to create this episode of LIFTOLOGY and help you do what you do even better.

Ready to get new ideas about how to leverage the Science of Learning to increase the impact and return on investment in your trainings?
